Category: outdoors
Where: Rome, Italy
When: 1 Jan - 1 Jan 2017

Every year in January 1st some brave (or maybe not too wise?) people jump into the Tibre River down from the Bridge of St. Angelo. The jump is quite risky as water is cold and what is more important it is shallow.

The first jump was performed in 1946 and was made by a man called "OK MAN".

Giuseppe Palmulli who jumps since some years, claims that the jump is kind of wishing good luck for the whole year to all italian.

The New year jumping is popular among watchers as it is spectacular and suroundings are picturesque. Expedia New Zealand
